Had a near disaster earlier today when the passenger accidentally pressed the door opening button and the door opened at 50mpg aarrggghhh !!! Now that shouldn't have happened.

I've been through the wiring diagram and can see the slate grey wire which comes from the speed sensor which goes to the speedo has a T in it which goes to the door control unit (B9). So first thing was to check the continuity of the wire but sadly that wasn't the issue....wire is good.

So it looks as though it's an internal issue with the control box.

Not wanting to be off the road as we approach the summer while I send the box off to be sorted, any other good suggestions other than don't carry passengers to keep everyone safe ?

Just to add to the above, does anyone else's interior door buttons still work when driving ?

They do, however still open up to approx. 5 mph
