Has anyone tried the equivalent throttle pots and if so any feed back on the quality?

This site has them listed and it looks like I need a pair and originals are scarce.

I have ordered one from Germany, if you google the Ford part number there are a number of equivalents. I think I only have one that is faulty so when it arrives I will plug the car into a pc and see if the old and new track at the same rate.

Let's hope they do so we all have an alternative source.

I have just cancelled my order as well, non of the equivalent parts are available.

I need at least one as soon as possible as my car is very stuttering at light throttle, fine when foot to the floor.

The black ones are fine, in fact I managed to find one on ebay the other day so I bought it (brand new old stock), but new ones are unobtanium just like the blue ones sadly.
Can the black ones be used on a 4.5?

Hello,

Thank you for your order, unfortunately the suppliers stock feed was showing incorrect stock and this part is in fact out of stock.

We will get this over to accounts for a refund asap for you.

Apologies for the inconvenience,
Motor parts world, the same people who last week said they had an alternative part then didn't

I am not hopeful my blue ones will turn up.

As suspected the stock does not exist so a refund is on its way.

Why advertise stuff you don't have FFS,

Here's another option, must be worth giving them a call at least

Interestingly the Vemo, Metzger and Magneti Marelli are all showing 3-5 days, but the Pierburg is showing 24hrs, so perhaps the Pierburg really is in stock.

Still scary prices though.
That was the bunch that called me back after I ordered some of the cheaper versions, they did a check to see if the had any that were comparable at any price and they all came back as out of stock and discontinued.

What happens if I just disconnect the dodgy TP, will the car just revert to using the good TP for both banks?

I ordered one from Latvia which just arrived.

Not on the car yet and my old one seems to have mended itself!
