Does anyone know this Cerbera?

Secondly - does anyone know this Cerbera?

I've finally caved, and I need to own my childhood hero car. Trying to arrange a PX for my motor, and maybe I'll own a Cerb in a few weeks.
It's being sold up north (I'm in south Devon) so I can't just pop over.
Any info / history you guys can give me is greatly received!
Thanks all,
Chaz

Don't know that particular car but for that money there's a less chancy alternate at James Agger if you can live with the colour combo:

Engine rebuild, Nitrons and a TVR specialist dealer.
This is probably a better bet then? https://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds/used-cars/...

What's wrong with the colour?! Ghost graphite stripes and it would look fantastiche! :-)https://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds/used-cars/...

The history and the fact that it's being sold at a specialist has to be worth more than the increase in price over the other one?

James knows his stuff, I bought my Tuscan from him. I'd say the premium was worth it for the car spec alone, let alone the seller.
Comments re colour was because of the other one the OP highlighted which was very different - bright exterior, pale interior. Taste is a very personal thing.
Maybe it's best to buy from a specialist. It is gonna always going to cost a bit more, but for the peace of mind, I think it's worth it. These are not common, and I know with their bespoke engines, and spaceframe chassis, they have very specific idiosyncrasies that even a good mechanic who's not 'in the know' can easily miss.Comments re colour was because of the other one the OP highlighted which was very different - bright exterior, pale interior. I've sent them an email about the car, just gotta wait now...
As for colour, I like loud colours on fast cars. You can't buy one of these types of cars and enjoy anonymity as you can in a 3 year old silver or white 320D.
To be honest, I've wanted a purple one since I was a child, when I saw Clarkson race one down Bruntingthorpe in 1995 against a host of other exotica.
How much is a good respray...? Ha!

Hi all, it looks like I've been looking at the same cars? I'm also in the SW, Cornwall to be precise. Have looked at a dozen Chimera's and made up my mind I want a Cerbera, had a wasted journey looking at one two weeks ago, have spent a fortune on hire cars, fuel and time off work. Hopefully the right one will turn up within sensible distance soon, running out of holiday.
Good luck with that! I realise we're pretty far away from everywhere down here...I can't offer much advice, but James at James Agger Autosport has been nothing but good in my experience. Patient with my dumb questions, and his track record on here - for many years - is very good.
He's got a gorgeous Chianti Starmist Cerbera for sale at the moment. I love the colour. The photos while good, really don't it justice.
