wet boot

how does the water get into my boot.. when ever it rains heavily i end up with 1/2 inch of water sloshing around but no
sign of from where ...

thanks all. .... i did look around the filler neck and everything felt dry... but when it stops raining i will pay a little more attention to it...

have just spent 1/2 hr with the hose pipe and im sure its not coming in around the fuel filler...cant see anything coming in... there is rainwater on the floor the other side by the fuse boxes.. im wondering if its the boot lid seal?
