Sorry Team - It's me again.
I started Steppin' Out recently asking for help for connecting the Alternator, Starter Motor and Big Fuse and was inundated with help.
Having now worked out the heavy-duty side, I have found a light weight cable which has The Yellow Label' Alternator on it.
Now, amazingly, I put on a label of my own, whilst I was dismantling, on which I wrote 'Alternator to Big Fuse'.
This raises several interesting aspects:
1) Can't begin to believe how I worked out that it was due to go to the Alternator as the cable just disappears into part of the loom.
2) If I trust myself and do connect it to the Big Fuse, which side should I be connecting it to ? Alternator Side or Starter Motor side ?
Many thanks to you all, once again, for putting up with my relentless dullisms.
Ta !

Hi Rufus
Many thanks for your pic.
it successfully replaced the 1000 words that would have been required
After viewing it I realised that I had taken this one during the disassembly...
Thanks Pen for your photo and superb breakdown of possibilities
Thanks Will, Dave and Rik, for your EMails - Brilliant !!
Thanks ALL for your dogged persistence in getting BlackBeauty back on the road
