Some advice please!
It looks like my oil pipes are weeping a little oil from the joints. I don’t know if these pipes screw on or if they’re some sort of push fit... I have never seen this sort of connection before and I’m not sure what to do. I’m hoping I can just tighten them up with some mole grips or something, will this work or am I going to break something?

Yeah good point I really don’t want the oil supply pipe failing... that would be a bad day!!
Looks like it’s a 15/16 OD fitting, can’t find any crimping tool that looks like it will fit whilst the pipe is attached to the engine, it was a nice idea but don’t think it’ll work.
If I go the new pipe route it looks pretty difficult to undo the fitting where it joins the block due to the usual complete lack of any working space on these cars, before I go this route has anyone done this in-situ without lifting the engine, is it possible?
Alternatively, and as it’s only a small leak, I came across oyltite whilst it looks a bit cowboy the rest of the hose looks to be in good condition so it might just do the job, has anyone used it?
