I added this to the equivalent parts thread, but thought it important enough for it's own too.

I have found an excellent resource for coil packs, might try the NGK or Beru, or the Hitachi smile

That's great infomation thanks. I'm thinking of starting a sweep through fo the electronic parts like coils and sensors as it would be nice to have everything at a know level and with decent brand parts.
No worries, it's nice to have some good quality options, rather than Bosch v Chinese unknown.

I've bought some NGK, £73 for two delivered is an excellent price.

It's an interesting site, even shows the various distributor caps and coil units required by a 2001 4.5 Cerbera ;-)
Some of the options for coil packs for our cars:

NGK U2009 (48030)
Lucas DMB200
Inter motor 12613
Lemark CP201
Delphi GN10488-12B1
BERU - ZS232 and ZS341
Champion BAEA232
Hitachi 138760, 2508760
Magnet Marelli 060717043012
Meyle 40-148850005
Valeo 245040

Can't believe that all these manufacturers are making these. I am assuming some of them are a single source rebadged by the manufacturer.
My Bosch coil packs lasted 1500 miles, I am going to go with NGK this time.
Hi Imran, that was the point of my original post, to show the options (under cross reference tab) - I should have been clearer.

I've just bought NGK, and they come with a made in China label. I queried this with NGK, and they confirmed that is correct. I haven't fitted them yet, so can't comment more.

Bought from

They are an NGK approved distributor (pun? smile)

Thanks for posting Duncan, a great find actually.
I just summarized some of their cross references for myself and thought I would share because it amounts to a lot of options!

I remember 20 years ago working with TDK Japan, they gave me a tour of their China manufacturing facility, it was actually really impressive and they were very proud of the quality control they had achieved (in an offshore facility).
I should have listed them like you did smile

Nice to hear re TDK China, China can produce high quality stuff, but I think it's a good idea to go with a respectable brand like NGK.

It was a toss up between them and Beru for me.
