Well she did it. 74 year old granny drove the Cerbie 4.2 - and we survived to tell the tale.

After 30 minutes of seat/steering wheel adjustment we were strapped (trapped?) in and ready to go.

A few false starts with the starter button - then the engine was roaring. (Whoa granny - 7000 revs is not required at this stage...!!!).

Clutch was coming up - revs were all over the place - then we kangarooed for a 100 yards and stalled. I was sweating - granny was looking mean and determined.

Off we went again. We managed just over a mile never going above second gear (one failed attempt 2nd to 3rd) and we got home safely.

I can honestly say that 140 mph through Glencoe in Scotland (try it - thoroughly recommended) was no where near as scary as the day granny took to the roads.

She's snow asking about track days....how can I tell her that she won't like it....
