Hello everyone. I'm looking for some info on the MP4 .First of all can anyone tell me what the service intervals and costs are and secondly can you confirm how the paddle system works. Is it true that the paddles are actually connected (central pivot point) so if you pull the left paddle to gear down does the right paddle moves away from the steering wheel.
Unfortunately I only have the use of one arm and after doing a track day in my BMW335i I've decided I want my next car to give me full control of the gear box. The 3 series was rubbish on full auto but much better using the paddles. I've been looking at the new 911 which has the rocker switches on the steering wheel that allow up and down shifts on both sides of the wheel but I'd also like to know what other options I have but unfortunately I don't live near a Maclaren dealer and there are no used ones close bye that I could have a close look at. The MP4 is my favourite car and I'd love the chance to get one but if the paddle can't be used how I need them it would be a no go.
I'd also be interested to hear of any other cars up to about 150 - 160k and relatively new that you think I may be able to use.

Thanks in advance
Dean
