Hi guys,
Disclaimer: said car is not mine and I do not have a vested interest!
Some of you may know of this car - it has been sitting outside a house in N London for 10+ years and sadly is in predictably poor condition. I put a note through the door 2-3 years ago and got a text just 10 days ago advising that the car will be available for sale after Easter.
I have lived locally 20+ yrs and remember seeing it out on the road in the '90's...so, any interest? I do not have any kind of exclusive access but I do have the owners contact name and number. She - think it used to be hubby's - has stated receipt of various offers, which upon cogitation suggests she is very possibly a stranger to the truth. Anyway I am just under a mile away and will engage with Maria further if it might possibly save a load of your collective time and ultimately find a good home.
FWIW got a bit of "proper" car history with engagements at Portman Lamborghini, HR Owen Ferrari/Lotus/TVR and "AFN" Porsche Park Lane.

Original factory red with the usual patination of slightly "pink". The car has been turned around on the driveway fairly recently so thinking it starts!

On it - but I think Maria is away for a bit. Still a cheeky photo wouldn't hurt...see what I can do.

Please accept my humble apologies for this schoolboy effort but hopefully enough to go on. Andy at AC Automotive (Shepherds Bush - Legend) has worked on plenty of these and threw out £20k as a guide to getting it pretty tidy. The car has recently been turned around so might well have been started. Not necessarily a good thing?! Anyway best I can do for now.

Thanks Steve - wise words for all potential "investors". I think Andy @ AC was thinking more along the lines of making the car good for an MoT...

Well I think we're all agreed it would be an expensive hobby, but I would wager that an "equivalent" from the other Italian stables might just be pain in an entirely different dimension...must be an upside to a Ford V8? Oh, and did I mention - back in the day - it sounded awesome? Anyhoo, have a great weekend motoring enthusiasts and will hopefully update soon.

Gentlemen - and ladies - apparently at least one party telling porkies. I am checking GT5 out Sat 2pm. Any real interest? This is a genuine opportunity and I am - REALLY! - just a guy who happens to live down the road and stuck a note thro' a door 3 years ago...let me know sleep

Latest! Friend actually got to poke around it properly today along with someone that restores Italians full time and the advice was - pretty much as above - you would be throwing at least £50k at it. The owner reckons to have a deposit anyway (?!!). Will let you know if it moves...
