about people getting customer care calls from Ferrari, and thought I'd share my experience with L.
Bought the car from main dealer. Among a host of poor customer service issues the three that stick out are:
1) Put the intermediary's name in warranty book (didn't realise this was the warranty book). Even though I was there to close the deal personally and transferred funds and signed contracts personally. Told it was nothing important.
Only realised later it was the warranty book. And if I didnt transfer with month (from memory) warranty would be void.
2) Gave me manuals in wrong language. Despite being assured this was full UK spec car.
3) Didn't give me the airbag keys.
I contacted Lamborghini customer service and a solicitor at Lamborghini I had the details of. Customer service prime never responded. Solicitor assured me he would pass the details over to customer care.
After initially recieving response from intermediary that everything would be resolved, nothing else has happened. (Nice of him, but Lambo and the dealership should address this).
Six months on, my follow up emails have had no response.
In short I love the G, but having read the other thread am wishing i'd bought an F just for the customer service. (Never thought I would hear myself say this).
If anyone has contact details for Lamborghini (or even Audi/VW corporate) Customer car they would be greatly appreciated.

Tamsen Hamburg. It is a Lamborghini Main dealer.
After the whole buying experience they are the last people I want to (and expect to) deal with.
Having contacted Lamborghini directly and initially got responses I'm not impressed to say the least.
This is a direct purchase from a main dealer. Not an indipendant dealer.
(Oh I forgot to mention they hiked the price after the money had already hit their account. Had cost me too much by that time to back out, something they probably realised. Or maybe 2 people really did make a mistake when they initially quoted the price).

So you brought the car into the UK yourself?
Yep.
I originally ordered one for a premium last feb from an indipendant. The guy screwed me around with delivery. So once I settled that I found this one.
Infact it was just good timing. I'd just got back from a couple of months away with work. My solicitor had got my deposit and compensation. Lambo London didnt bother to return my calls (for one I wanted to buy). And I spotted this one advertised.
The guy had pre-ordered it, but all the contracts and paperwork were in my name. I went to germany and did everything personally, transfered funds to Tamsen, signed contracts, picked up car, etc. The dealer could be under no impression I was the buyer. And i'm clearly the first owner.
Actually this has little to do with the location of the dealer.
This is a German main dealer. I've had no problems with warranty here (Lambo High Wycombe have been great). You can purchase the third year warranty, to bring it to the same level as the UK cars.
The dealership executing the warranty work get paid well for the work. So they are very happy for the business.
Tamsen didn't sell the car cheap. It actually cost more then the LHD ones they were selling.
The main reason I bought abroad was they had the car I wanted. Their were none in the UK.
I have heard of people having similar experiences who didn't import. So the advice is beware of Lamborghini. Not importing.
