I have come across the Lexus LF-A in the occasional auto show, but never saw one in the metal. The sound of the thing was blood curdling when it got on the nearby road as he left....amazing....seen in Vancouver this week......

No idea what the used price is. Very narrow market I would think.

A friend of mine has one in Canada funnily enough, in Toronto area though and absolutely loves it. It has one of the truly great engines ever made imo and probably will never be an engine like that made again.

Prices a year or two ago were actually surprisingly sensible for a car with the amount of engineering that went into it. I'm told it was somewhat of a North American issue though with dealers taking cars and having them sit in dealerships on some kind of lease so one could have gotten a car at a great price when they were coming off that lockup. I looked briefly at one to be imported here but couldn't quite bring myself to sell one of the existing cars to free up space. Perhaps a mistake but one has to be content sometimes i guess!
I had never heard one with the engine at higher revs....it was spine tingling. Wish I had recorded it but I just had an iPhone on the way to a meeting so snapped a couple of quick shots,,,and it left.
