As title,

I currently have a C63, fantastic car which I took in PX for my Audi R8 ages ago.

I am now debating swapping at next to no cost to something a bit more 'special' without upping my budget.

I used to own a 4200 Maser and loved the feeling of owning something a bit different / Italian , question is...would I be mad to give up my C63 if the right deal came up and I moved to a Granturismo at no cost?

Genuinely appreciate all feedback on this.

I wouldn't swap, i was looking to go the other way about five years ago.

It depends why you want to swap though, the C63 is much more fun to drive but the Maser is a nice place to be and has a bit more kudos.
To me the maser feels a bit more special. I have a lease Octavia VRS coming as my daily and wanted to swap the C63 for something a little more special.

I’m not massively bothered that the maser is a little slower either

Well that is bizarre from Yipper!

OP - I actually did exactly this in July of this year. I'd had an early current model C63, my first. It had some teething problems, engine was great, sound was very nice... but the interior build quality was poor with more rattles than anything I'd had before and seemingly an inability to fix it. That said, it is still a great car. After 2 years - which is something of a record of staying power for me - I switched to a GranTurismo Sport. This is my third GT, having gone from a 4.2 to a 4.7 GranCabrio MC and now to this Sport.

The GT is nothing like the C63 at all. Its nowhere near as nimble, not as fast, but it squeaks and rattles less and the interior build quality feels higher than the Merc. Who'd have thought that for an Italian car!? Oh, and neither are twitchy fyi.

The GT definitely feels like more of a comfortable place to be, prettier, more unusual and exclusive (if that's your thing), gets more looks (again if that's your thing - or not). But the technology is notably older, slower gear change, not as responsive, the infotainment system is pretty poor (have you got CD's to hand? It doesn't bluetooth music - and even plugging in an MP3 device is hit and miss)... but you know what? I prefer it. It has more soul, more character, has been in for work on it less than the Merc.
Fantastic could do with chatting to you more about that way any way to contact you directly

My only concern is ground clearance didn’t realise these were as low.

Anyone know how they compare to the 63 clearance wise, if there’s nothing much in it I should be fine but what a nightmare if proves to be a struggle.

My drive entrance is slight incline up the path

However that said an F Type S got onto my drive no issue I’d imagine they clear fairly similar?
