Thoughts Cayman GT4 or AMG GTS or 991GTS mark1
Discussion
Not quite supercars so apologise for posting in here but if I post in Porsche section I know which way the answers will come - GT4!
Has anyone driven all? or owned?
like the Merc looks, reasonable noise, nice cockpit (although crap standard seats) did I mention its bloody quick...
GT4 - looks good and like the noise. Im sure its a hoot and looks quite controllable for putting out the back end... 365hp? its down on the ponies a bit to the Merc.
GTS - in Saphire blue well it would be this on the looks front all day long... Cabin nice, enough power and well its a 911...
my guess Is gt4 will lose the least money but might get much harder to sell if we go into a recession as its a pure toy whilst mr sensible will always by a 911 usable for everyday...
Ive driven the merc and indeed the GTR (potentially huge depreciation)
Im thinking under £90k is less risk of taking a huge bath.
Last time I did the calculation on even a 2 yr old Merc GTS it looked to me like it was going to lose £40k in 2 years of owning...
is this too pessimistic ?
thoughts?

Hi Franky
Good opinion and haven't driven the gts on back roads although I did have a proper test of the Gtr but it's too much money for what it is and will depreciate
I really need to drive the gt4 and I'm not afraid of buying one with the normal chairs !!! I've got a weekend toy so this would be more worked than my other cars and it's got race seats although they are comfortable !
Likewise the pork GTS I need to drive it. I've only driven a 991turbo S briefly and although it is mighty and looks amazing it's not got enough revs and noise for me.
