Bloody hell guys is it really that bad? The car guys video showed that it got very close to the 812 so i thought it might just be as good as the F12. In other reviews, they seem to rate it, or are you lot just Ferrari biased?

I had a dbs and drove an f12, there is no contest - not that the dbs is a bad car but the f12 is in a different league
WCZ ,was that the new DBS sl. So the Ferrari really is that good then.

Just to be clear i,m talking about the 2018 DBS Superleggera!

Why don’t you just test drive both and go for the one that you and only you prefer?
Firstly i like to hear what fellow PHers say then i will do that but i,m in Italy and i tell you now there are no DBS,s here and only one dealer miles from me has a F12.

Given that the F12 is almost 100k cheaper (as a low mileage used buy) than the Superleggera and even more compared to the 812 I think it is a futile comparison. We have reached a point, where price and performance are no longer real differentiators and it is clear to see that the improvement from the F12 to the 812 is highly academic as you have pretty much reached the peak in terms of what is meaningful in todays world in terms of (usable) performance. This thread now talks about the quality of the infotainment system rather than the horsepower in differentiating the three models. Where we will we go from here as the performance envelope obviously has been exhausted is questionable ?. These brilliant cars in their own right have become too powerful and cannot be used as intended. I really think that the manufacturers have moved themselves into a cul de sac at the same time where the world is going electric. Interesting to see what is going to happen after the DBS or the Superfast.
Sorry hornbaek but a low mileage F12 and a late second hand DBSsl are about the same price which is why i have asked about the F12 and not the 812 as a comparision. In fact a very nice F12 actually cost more than the AM.

Yes not bad. I personally would want the carbon dash bits though, but still nice seats as well.

I understand your point. I don’t live in the UK anymore so the used prices on the Continent are very different from the ones in the UK.
No worries!
