If you drive some sort of exotica like a Ferrari , lambo etc , do you ever leave it anywhere !?

I used to drive an escort Cosworth many years ago when I didn’t know any better , and I was scared sh-tless to leave it anywhere . I had a snap off wheel but people used to scratch it, try and pinch it etc etc. So every time you came back to the car you were wondering what might have happened to it. It was just STRESS !

When you’re driving around in your 355 or your Aston Martin what’s people’s attitude towards you. Do people shout t0ser ?
I read on carsurvey.org one guy got a brick bounced up his 360 , I walked past a new 911 in Mayfair last month that had every panel keyed !

Hopefully in a couple of years I should be in a position to buy my boyhood dream car the F355 F1 , but I doubt I would want to leave it unattended for any amount of time!!

It's a shame we cant all enjoy our cars with out some t0ss pot spoiling the fun. As dealmaker said if it was like the US people would say wow well done nice car . Not be jealous as hell and scratch it.
That brings me on to my second issue with car ownership ! I work in the city everyday and get the crappysmith and city line to work, so i only use a car when i go back up to newcastle , see mates or tescos !
Most of you own a very nice car , but because of all the above only seem to drive it at night , at weekends or to places you know are safe.
How can you justify the huge expense , depreciation , running costs etc for a car you never get to fully enjoy and only use once or twice a week ! I know owning a car is never really an investment but it's a lot of cash to splash for a once a week toy!

if you speak to some of the TVR bod's they dont seem to have any problems. seems
1. people dont know what they are
2. they look unusual so local idiots dont know what to do
3. its not classed as an in your face car , more of an enthusiasts car

also heard the bmw m coupe thing has the same reaction i.e you never see too many on the road.
