I have a couple of questions regarding tyres for the 360, apologies if this has been covered in an earlier thread, as far as I am aware there are only three types that fit it, the Bridgestone Potenza SO2/SO3, the Pirelli Pzero and the Goodyear Eagle F1 (Fiorano?) I have done about 12,000 miles in my 360 now on Pzeros (two sets of fronts and five sets of rears ) and the time has come to change them all together, having used SO2s on my TVRs I was impressed with wet weather performance, but think the Pzeros are better in the dry, so I was thinking about a change to the Goodyears, as I've heard that they are a softer compound and better still in the dry, firstly has anyone ever used them and can they comment/recommend them? and secondly I find the 360 does understeer a bit in medium and tighter turns and was thinking of fitting a slightly wider set of fronts (225 as opposed to the 215s on there) will they fit ok on the same rim without too much tyre wall deflection?

456mgt mentioned his tyre pressures in a previous post. Wrong pressures when delivered. May be worth checking your pressures before changing the size of the tyres.

I do check them fairly regularly and often adjust them up and down a bit on track days when they are warmed up, depending on the conditions, I just feel that they are a bit understeery generally!

Try lowering the front by 2 turns on the spring platform.

You'll be pleasantly surprised, also crank a bit of neggy on and toe it to zero if you have the gear to do it.

Thanks for the advice 360N-GT, as the car's in for the tubi, de-catt treatment at the dealer currently I'll give them a call and ask them to make the changes..........looking forward to being pleasantly surprised, incidently is there a down side to this (I suspect a bit more tramlining on normal roads?!) if not why don't the cars leave the factory with this setup?
