For those willing to share - trying to identify a handful of friendly car parks in (a) city (around moorgate/bank) and (b) west end (around mayfair). Friendly means - I think - secure, easy meandering to keep alloys intact, wide parking bays to keep doors intact and possibly underground. Pricing is a factor but would think people are happy to pay premium if all boxes are checked.

Another way to approach this perhaps - any car parks one should steer away from!

smile 10yrs on from my original post.. we now have Boris' legacy of narrower roads, more double parked white vans and less parking... that being said, I am a daily parker at Q Park Park Lane... all the space and polish one needs. Ps went on a nice drive to Champagne... was nice having Eurotunnel staff push me into the higher carriages as car was too low for the 2 tier carriage ramps.

About 3 ys ago - they did a great job and also can skin your car... something I have thought about but subtely and skinning your car don't easily mix, so have refrained... maybe when gumball rally comes past again might be an idea for 3k

Agree. Big on wheel refurbs... low profile tyres and Ldn kerbs. Hotels - Grosvenor - use Q Park plenty. I figure best just blast all your rims b4 a refurb as cheaper to do in one go.
