Hi - to answer your questions -
No I don`t use the Egg enough. I drove it back from the factory in Sweden after buying it. Also I took it to Le Mans but I normally tend to use one of the other cars.
Yes I still want a Saleen S7 TT.
It is easy to drive although I do struggle with locating reverse sometimes.
Yes it is the green one that was at Broughtons, Pangbourne. They are the UK Koenigsegg dealer.
It is the only Koenigsegg racing green CCR to be produced.
My friend in Sussex has just bought Rio`s CC8S.

Anyone have any idea on the numbers produced of each? I was lucky enough to see a CC8S in Dubai in 2004, I wondered what happened to it. It was in the Hamann (BMW tuners) showroom.
Yes go onto www.m5board.com and then to the Koenigsegg forum and there is a thread on there reference the Koenigsegg registry.steve06 said:
shoebag: Can I ask why you went for one over a Zonda? I'd easily choose one over a Zonda but a lot of others wouldn't.
It was a combination of things. After seeing the Koenigsegg on Top Gear I liked what Koenigsegg stood for i.e the non-conformist styling and the fact they held the fastest production car record (at the time.) I like the fact Koenigsegg was a family run business succeeding in producing a car that looked so totally different. I guess it appealed to my eccentric nature. Also the timing played a part in me buying the CCR as I heard it was for sale through a friend. If I had unlimited funds a Zonda would be in my collection but there would still be a few other cars I would buy first before a Zonda i.e the Saleen S7 TT and a Gumpert.

Shame it's not one of those that we have in common.
I'd love to see it sometime.
How is the other?
My Viper is still out in Baltimore all repaired and in storage. Going to use it for abit of a roadtrip out there and then bring it home again. Snakey is my favourite out of all of my cars and like the Diablo it is a keeper.I'd love to see it sometime.
How is the other?

What is it like to drive in normal day to day conditions?
They're not great round town, but fantastic everywhere else - provided you watch your right foot. What is it like to drive in normal day to day conditions?

Epic car collection by the way
With the Diablo the sensation of speed feels different to the Egg. You know at 140mph in the Diablo you can accelerate away from other cars but in the Egg you have a sense that you are being propelled in a warp speed stealth kind of way. It almost feels unreal.

shoebag, may I ask if you go up to Edinburgh often? You were spotted in a petrol station and it was posted on autogespot, I found the link but it is dead now
Near Calais
I have never taken the CCR to Scotland - it may of been Rio`s CC8S? The other photo is at the Eurotunnel, Calais.Near Calais

Would you mind letting us the running costs over a year? Servicing, tyres, wear & tear etc?
The CCR has done very few miles over the last year. The batteries had to be replaced. There are 2 batteries and they cost £297.15 plus vat each. Also replaced was a brake light switch £26.60 plus vat. Plus there was the labour charge for fitting the batteries as they are quite difficult to get to.There is only one fully trained Koenigsegg mechanic in the UK and he is based at Broughtons, Pangbourne the UK dealership where my car goes. I took the car to the local MOT garage for it`s MOT.
