Bought a Ferrari from respected dealer...but now miffed
Discussion
Hello all,
I recently bought a 360 from a seemingly well respected house, but now they're annoying me slightly.
They advertised the car with bluetooth and satnav, but there is no bluetooth and the satnav didn't come with the disks so it's useless.
No real matter, I'll probably change the head unit anyway.
The thing that really pisses me off, is that when I picked it up they said they didn't have the master (red) key, and that they would send it on as the previous owner still had it. They never did. I chased them up last week (2 months after purchase) and they've said that they have a new red key but it needs programming. So either, they'll send it to me (i'm 100 miles away) and I can get it programmed elsewhere, or I can drive all the way back and they'll do it.
Is that good enough? I don't think so.
Thoughts?

Well I don't want to be a moaner about it, and I don't care particularly about the sat nav; but the key is very important to me. I just mentioned the nav as well because I thought it was indicative of their attitude.
Really, I think they should send me the key and then pay whatever my local place will charge to program it.
Also, once reprogrammed, will the new 'red' key be the same as the original red 'master' key? Or is this just going to be a spare that isn't something I can make a copy of? I don't really understand what I'm asking here but I thought there was something special about the original red 'master' key you got when you bought the car. THis was quite important to me.

I bought from a small specialist and needed second key. I bought the car and he promptly sent along a new key from the Lambo factory direct to me about a week later ,and also paid my local dealer to do the programming for me so I did not have to go all the way back. Sounds like this is what you should be aiming for!
Agreed. I will call them again now and ask them to be more helpful.Edited by UH-Matt on Monday 12th July 11:33
