European motorway passes

I found out recently that we need a pass to use the Swiss motorways so I've got that.

Is there anywhere else in Europe, like Germany and Austria that you need a pass for?

I was just going to ask if it's motorway only, I could try and divert onto smaller roads for that leg.

Thanks for the replies, it really is only the 14 miles on the south end of Lake Constance between Swizerland and Germany, so we'll hop off the motorway onto the local roads - and do a bit of sightseeing in that area.
