Phers.

Maybe you or your buddies are thinking of organising a driving trip abroad.

We have just completed (14 guys) a six day trip incorporating the Italian GP.

Day One - overnight Ferry portsmouth - caen.
Day two - travel on peage to Bescanon (france) and stay in a great hotel (the Paris hotel)
which has great rooms and very secure parking.- out in Bescanon for a meal and drinking.
It is a lively student city.
Day three - Drive via Lussanne into the Alps heading for the great St Bernard pass.
At this point it should be added that any enthusiastic driver should do the Great St Bernards pass.
Into Northern Italy - stay on autostradde and head for Menaggio (or other location) on Lake Como.
Menaggio is one of the bigger towns and has good hotels and restaurants. we stayed at the Menaggio Grand
not a great hotel but most importantly parking was secure.
Out into the piazza for a meal and prossecco.
Day Four - hired three speed boats and had fun on the lake for six hours (each boat €300) so 65 euros each.
subdued Saturday night due to heavy friday night.
Day five - head to Monza for GP - we have grandstand tickets at the start straight chicane
After the race - blast back into France we went back to Bescanon - bit of crap journey due to Mont Blanc tunnel and rain.
Day six - home via tunnel at Calais.

Total cost approx £1500 each - however it ticks a lot of boxes on your bucket list

GET ORGANISING.

PM me if you would like more details of the trip.
