Sunday Service 10/11: Mercedes-Benz World

Lots going on but you can't sign up ... yet

The Sunday Service roadshow will stop at Mercedes-Benz World once more on November 10, the morning after the party of the year at Black Tie & Pie. PH staff may be light on the ground thanks to post-party hangovers but that hasn't stopped us from creating one of the very best PHSS meets ever.

Unusually you can't sign up for this one just yet, instead we wanted to pre-publicise the activities taking place before we open the sign-up on Monday at 12.00. Make sure you set a reminder as we are limited to 600 spaces this time around.

To start us off the Mercedes-Benz team has arranged for an additional catering unit to be placed in the Sunday Service carpark meaning the queue for an al fresco breakfast should be minimal. Other attractions include:

A 'What's On' guide handed out as you arrive

Passenger rides available from 10.00 - 13.00 in the following vehicles:

  • SLS AMG
  • C63 AMG Black Series
  • A45 AMG
  • E63 AMG
  • CLA 45 AMG
  • SLS and C63 rides are charges at £15. All others charged at £10 (book on the day as you arrive)

With so much excitement around the A45 AMG we hope to be able to offer test drives to (pre-qualified) PHers who might be interested in purchase. Note that we cannot offer drives to everyone, but for genuinely interested parties we hope to be in a position to offer drives.

PH members will also be given special access to the AMG floor within Mercedes-Benz World where you will have one of the first chances to see the brand new S63 AMG alongside an SLS Black Series, retro S70 and a static CLA45 AMG amongst other AMG models. To gain access simply say you are from PistonHeads and enjoy browsing, asking as many questions as you like to the AMG specialists on hand.

The non-AMG versions of the brand new S-Class will also be on display, as will the ESF concept car, a special collection of classics owned by celebrities and the entire range of new (and used) models from the current Mercedse-Benz range.

Not enough? How about

  • Special tours around the whole facility available from 11.30 - 14.00
  • PH discount on items available to purchase
  • Silver Arrows display team passenger rides to be won

We'll announce more on Monday (including how to enter the Silver Arrows competition) but for now please join us in thanking Mercedes-Benz for all of their efforts.

I hope one day one of these events will be held in the North rather than in the South East...
