Back for 2016 - We're starting off with a Sunday morning event to wake everyone up. Bring all the PH'ers you know! Let's make it a good one - From April onwards we will be back to normal with the Summer meets but until then I've got a few great locations in mind for future meets.

Location:
The Botley Hill Farmhouse, Limpsfield Road, Warlingham, Surrey CR6 9QH

Website:www.botleyhill-farmhouse.co.uk/

Time: 9AM-11PM - We can be earlier but food/drinks will only be served from 9AM onwards.

Please DO NOT FOLLOW the Sat Nav - You will be led down single track, plan your route via the A22 up to Whyteleafe & up through Warlingham. You will then reach the venue coming from the North

Food/Drinks - Start serving from 9AM. Botley will be serving hot drinks & sausage/bacon baps on the day for people so if you haven't had breakfast, pop down with a fiver & you'll be catered for!

Do I need to have a supercar to attend? nuts
Nope...This is Pistonheads after all. The best meets have been the ones where you have a Lamborghini next to a classic Mini, next to a classic Aston next to a choice bit of Americana. The varied the better smile

To those who are joining me for a spirited run from Cobham services, I will be waiting at the Shell station and plan to set off from there at 8am. I will be in a blue evora and my name is Dave.
I'm up for that.

Morning folks...

Still very much doing these and will be throughout the summer - Just awaiting confirmation from my venue on maximum numbers allowed for a weeknight then I will be putting up a date/time.

I'll also be doing another big event at McLaren Ascot in the near future too.

is the south east gathering still happening, does not seem to be any mention on here recently ????
Yes it will be...Just depending on venue currently. From what I can see the likelyhood is it will need to be held at a smaller venue, limited numbers based on first come first serve as the event is too big for most pubs car park capacity wise, & because we don't charge to run it...Too small to jump to a larger venue that can handle 200/250/300+ cars (& I don't particularly want to have to charge people anything to enjoy an evening of cars).

Standby smile

There will be...Still here wavey Just been very pre occupied. Date will come up soon...Issue has been a) Lacking time b) Lacking a venue. Botley Hill insist my event is too big to handle on a weeknight along with their normal diners/trade, so I have another location in mind with a petrolhead landlord. Keep fingers crossed smile

Its now almost July and no PH South East meets so assume this is now very unlikly to be resurrected !!
You're very keen Seb smile

They will be happening. Not everyone wants 150-200 cars coming to their venue because they don't want to a) Annoy their existing customers b) Can't cope with those numbers c) Want to charge a hefty sum for having the venue made available for such numbers D) Don't want to be liable for complaints/misbehaviour from neighbours/police etc

Sit tight...I've been doing these for years & and to be honest I'm glad I've not had one organised as the weather has been so hit & miss anyway, fingers crossed July is consistently hot.
