Geneva Motorshow - How many hours needed?
Discussion
Having never visited before, and with a lineup that looks pretty stellar, coupled with pure fluke that i'm passing through Geneva airport twice during the show (skiing..) i'm going to delay my outbound transfer from the airport and do a few hours in the show. Seems silly to not take a look...
I've found somewhere to stash my bags (lockers/baggage storage place in airport), and i'm thinking of doing something like 10am-5pm before my transfer on to le ski.
Anyone any experience of how big the Palexpo site is, and how long i might need to walk around? I appreciate how-long-is-a-piece-of-string, but i'm not sure how big the show compares to other shows i've been to, and whether 5 hours is sufficient, or 7 is better, or is it so huge 1 day is not enough? I'm mainly there to see the headline acts.
Likewise any logistics tips would be appreciated - i'm assuming it's walkable from airport->expo centre, and not far (looking on google maps).

Palexpo is right next to the Airport, 5 minute walk.
The show doesn't open until 1000hrs, then there is a mad rush to get in.
I have been many times, and found 5 hours is more than enough, by that time I need a pitstop at the Alpina stand to taste some of their wonderful wine
Great - thanks - so assuming 5 hours from ~11ish (10am landing), i can book my transfer for 5pm happily. with time either end for baggage faff. Should mean i get into resort in time for some heavily cheese based dinner. The show doesn't open until 1000hrs, then there is a mad rush to get in.
