Angouleme Circuit des Remparts

Just entered for the International rally...Has anyone done it previously? I am wondering if they send the entry info to your home address? or do you collect it when you arrive at the event? This will be our first time at Angouleme, so any pointers would be useful.

We attend every year, as we live here in the Charente Maritime, and always have classic car guests staying that week to enjoy the festivities. It is a great event, lots to see over the weekend: static displays, concourse d'elegance on the Friday evening, the 200 km rally with the roads lined by waving and cheering bystanders; plus the racing on the Sunday. Seats in the grandstands are numbered and are your seats for the day, so you can come and go as you please, and there are enormous screens opposite each of the stands and in the paddock so you can see all aspects of this road race.

You will receive instructions where to collect your rally pack including rally plaque.

A new organisation has taken over the event this year, and it is rumoured Derek Bell will be attending

Hope the weather is good, as there is no shelter in the stands - they are uncovered - so take some waterproofs just in case.
