Don and myself are planning to travel to Thruxton on Sunday in convoy, so if anyone else would like to join in they're most welcome.

We are, however, planning to leave rather early. We're leaving at 7:45 to allow plenty of time to get installed before the GT warm-up (which last year was the only opportunity to see the rollcentre car moving, iirc) begins at 9-ish. Meeting at the "usual" car-park by the leisure centre/spruce goose.

Hopefully I'll not get distracted into dashing off after any passing ferarris, this time...

Yep, I'll be there both days lurking around the Hawthorns garage.

I will definitely call in there this time. I actually sponsor Rod (well...a little bit anyway) so I feel a coffee and a quick nose at their Tuscan Racers isn't out of order...

See you there...

...and I'll go and hang around the Thames Valley Racetech garage for a bit -- it sometimes feels like I'm sponsoring them!

Hi there - I would love to join the Tuscan convoy going to Thruxton tomorrow but having trouble finding the meeting place - I heard something about Fleet Services but don't know the time HELP!! I love my Tuscan and want to join in the fun!

We're meeting at the leisure park at the centre of the following map:

www.multimap.com/map/browse.cgi?client=publicinfo&X=462000&scale=25000&width=500&Y=152000&height=300&gride=&gridn=&coordsys=gb&db=&overviewmap=&local=0&local=leisure

(you may have to stitch that back together in your browser).

It's just a bit west of Basingsotke town centre, on the B3400

We're planning to leave the carpark described above at or around 7:45 (but not much later!). I think other threads have convoys from other places, too.
