Supercar Siege - Brands Hatch
Discussion
Back for 2018, bigger, better and with more BHP!
Siege is back for 2018 and we are attempting to break all of our previous records.
MSV have kindly donated 500 display passes for the Blancpain GT race day at the legendary Brands Hatch racing circuit which takes place on Sunday the 6th of May 2018.
We aim to make full use of this generous offer and as usual we are asking for a minimum donation of £15 which will cover the driver and 1 passenger.
We are also very happy to announce that the Sporting Bears will be back with their awesome team to give passenger rides in return for charitable donation.
We will be announcing which cars will be available for passenger rides over the next few weeks.
As per the previous 2 years we will also be in charge of the Hypercar Demo display lap, which this year will take place over the lunch period between races. We managed to get a number of Koenigseggs, a Porche 918 and a La Ferrari out last year so another bar that needs to be raised again this time around.
To apply to take part in the vehicle display at this years Supercar Siege you simply need to head over to the Brands Hatch MSV website (linked below) and register your car:
MSV WEBSITE
Clubs can also register interest via the above link, however you will need to click on the club application link on the MSV page.
Once you are registered the Siege admin team will forward the relevant details to you.
As per all our events this is by invitation only and you will not be allocated a space without direct confirmation from our team.
Important information:
Drivers will have payment details forwarded to them once they have confirmed their place via the MSV website.
Extra passengers will have to purchase their tickets separately as this offer solely covers the driver of the vehicle plus one additional passenger. Passenger tickets can be purchased here: Website
Children under 13 years of age have free admission when accompanied by a paying adult.
We are asking drivers to be in place by 09:00hrs, and remain on display until 16:00hrs. However with a full day of racing ahead we don’t see this as being too much of an issue.
Rules for the venue such as pets etc. can be found on the MSV website.
Although no BBQ’s and Gazebo’s are allowed, we actively encourage the use of picnic hampers and sunscreen.
If you have any issues trying to register your car, please feel free to contact us direct and one of our team will guide you through the process.
Kind regards,
Team Supercar Siege

Glad you enjoyed it.
As for the Charity - PH are funny about saying it's a charity event (for what reason I've got no idea when they're not even organising it) so I had to cutout any reference to the charity during the notification. The chosen charity is - http://rnrmchildrensfund.org.uk/
If you follow us on Facebook you might have seen the post we put out this morning thanking a long list of folks whom without their involvement it wouldn't be what it actually is. I've stolen a couple of bits which are directly related to the attendees.
So on behalf of Supercar Siege and ultimately the Charity - Thank You.
Now to all the owners, who plodding along to help support our cause, I didn't get to speak to half the people I wanted to this year, I could spend all day chatting to each and every one of you but alas I'm always busy dealing with the next hurdle thrown my way.
Thank you so much for not only donating to the charity, but for giving up your day to come and put on this display. Not one car looked out of place and I know the feedback from all the assorted cars was positive from both the circuit director and the visitors alike. Sorry for those that had issues with admin this year, we are hoping to learn from our mistakes and improve on the process moving forward.
Our aim this year was modest after we struggled to have cars sign up this time round. We clashed with some pretty large events over the weekend and lost a lot of clubs to other shows. Due to this we set our target to £4,000 for the Royal Navy and Royal Marine Children's Fund.
The drivers who donated to display on the day, to take part in the hypercar lap and to sit in the VIP box managed to raise a very impressive: £3,881,88
The sporting bears who took donators out for passenger rides pulled in a spectaculor: £3,465.00
The buckets for donations on the VIP stand and the Charity stall, inc keyring sales came home with a hefty: £752.50
The grand total for this years event, inc Gift Aid, came in at: £8,096,88
Thank you all for your amazing work and generosity, the charity will be very happy to put this money to good work as always.
For those wishing to still donate you can head over to our page and add your donations up until Sunday evening:
