Surrey Street Rods` "Wheels Day" Good Friday, Rushmoor Arena, Aldershot - I haven`t found anything on PH about this years` event but if you`ve got any P in your H, this one`s unmissable. With the weather set to warm, there`s no better way to see in the start of the show season. It is primarily a Yank, Rod & Custom show but there`s always a great diversity: classics (saw a beautifully patinated XKSS replica once...or was it a real one?), exotics (365BB, Grifo), proper drag race cars (Fuel Altereds etc), custom Harleys (like off the telly), and what must the best display of muscle cars (Superbirds!! plural!) anywhere in the country. There`s a fun fair for the kids and a beer steam wagon for the grown-ups. If it`s anything less than chucking it down, it`ll be the best lazy Sunday ever had on a Friday.....

Well, me and the lad enjoyed ourselves and I saw quite a few cars familiar from PH events/runs: Spithotfast Ultima, testicle Vette, for example. Anyone else`s hair still smelling of burnout smoke?
