There seems to be enough interest for Nottingham III and due to the very poor quality of totty in Rock City (except Racegirl & Mrs Fish of course ) this time we'll go a bit more upmarket, not a lot, just enough to get a better class of ladeeee
Inital dates are either the 4th/5th April, that way while people are up here they can take in GT/Tuscans at Donington on Sunday 6th
Or 19th/20th April which is an empty weekend in my diary (but something is bound to be happening somewhere)
So whos up for it, does it have to be a Friday or can people make a Saturday, and what are your views on the dates?

So putting 2+2 together and getting 6
Are we now going out on Friday 4th April,
Off to Donington for practice/qualifying on Saturday, then back to yours for a BBQ on Sat night
Then back to Donny for the racing on Sunday

Sorry to anyone who can't make that date but as Cirvy actually has a point for once about Easter and Tuscans at Donington give the whole event an even greater PH slant we'll go for the 4th
If anyones up for making a weekend of it I'd probably recommend getting a hotel out in Hucknall (definatly twinned with Roston Vasey) that way you could stagger back from Cirvy's on Saturday night (that is of course as long as cirvy's alright with me inviteing everyone round to his gaf ) And the hotel I've got in mind is right on the late night Nottingham bus route so getting home on Friday Night/Saturday Morning will not involve scareing any innocent Nissan ownerer

I was thinking of going slightly more upmarket, probably around the Hockley/Lace Market area and I'll do a bit of homework into quality/style of the clubs in that area

I hope you actually mean the 5th

will choose somewhere with decent clientele! Will keep you posted xx

But remember they've got to let Flasher in
And does this mean I will have to smartern myself up a bit and I can't wear any nice warm wolly jumpers?

It just any excuse to spend my 'hard earned' We'd probably end up in the next room to Mungo, and Flash, and they'd keep us awake all night

When we say 'upmarket' really it just means 'not Rock City' or any other place with a mixture of sawdust and broken glass on the floor, or any place that turns you away for being 'too smart' (Believe it or not that actually happened a while ago)
Hotel wise it really depends on whether your just doing the Friday night or the whole Donington weekend thing.
Friday night stopovers I would recommend Mungo/Flash's regular abode in Westbridgeford near Jamers place, but if your going for the full weekend the Premier Lodge in Hucknall would be best

Might have guessed a Conrads mention would activate the Cirvy radar

Well I s'pose it's marginally more up market then Rock City
One of my mates used to promote Monday nights in the Palais (what Ritzy has been called for the past 5 years ) used to alternate between doctors and nurses, and school disco's nights
Love the review
