A few of us are planning to meet up at the Ace cafe on the North Circular this Wednesday evening.
The Ace is usually associated with Bikers but is becoming increasingly popular with car groups as well. The 1st Wednesday of the month is hot rod night and judging by the amount of rubber on the road outside it should get quite lively when the sun goes down.
We will be there from about 7.30pm so if you are in the area and fancy meeting up with a few other TVR drivers then do come down.
Ace website www.ace-cafe-london.com for directions.

Not a bad turnout given the short notice and unsociable weather. I reckon about 10 -12 of us in total. Thanks Guys !
Now the better news and this is where I need some more support. The Ace are happy to give over a regular monthly night to us TVR drivers. This being the first Friday of the month, and will go down on their regular events list. All we need to do is to fill the car park.
As I have said before, the Ace is a great venue, easy to get to, plenty of parking with good food & drink. They also attract a lot of attention from the motoring press.
Any body up for a regular monthly meet ?

Whitey,
Me thinks you may be angling at a bit of a drag race with your Tuscan ! Funny really, for all the hype nothing really happened last night. Except, that is for Dave Potter and his slightly sideways Cerbera power slide. Go on my son! You can always rely on a TVR to gatecrash such events and steal the show.

Melv,
A few of us should be there on Tuesday, weather permitting it should be another fine turnout. Every month I try and get in with the Griff, and each time the gate man turns me away, apparently the Griff is not old enough to be a classic, despite appearing on the cover of the very magazine that sponsor the night. Maybe on Tuesday I will reverse in, and give him 5000rpm of the finest V8 sports exhaust. Should just be able to slot into a space in time as he peels himself off the wall !
Let me know if you are going.
Matt.
