is your car ok now then Paul? I heard you had it off the road for a bit?

she's fine mate. She was down at David Batty's for a de-cat and new exhaust... hence the obsession with tunnels! (check the "How Loud?!?!" thread in the S series forum).

Big T - NOOOOO! Blackwall there, and Dartford back, sounds like a great idea!

TVR-Nut - be good if you could make it chap... promise to be good (ish) blat wise, with the exception of tunnels, or where the exhaust will reverberate... Engagement! bloody hell chap! (seriously though, congratulations )

V8 Archie - Best damn idea I've heard in ages... Since you know the way, are you happy to lead? Suggest a meeting place and a time chap, and I'll be there!

It'd be good if you could check it out before Sunday. I'm not sure I could cope with the disappointment if we got there to find it shut.

We'll be OK chap... we've still got the Dartford jobbie..

Think we need to persuade Griffy that she needs to get her exhaust seen too ( )...

The game of flooring it in pairs through the tunnel has yet to lose its appeal. Reckon we could shake a few tiles loose Big T!

:shouts: (To make himself heard over the sound of roaring V8s) There's always Rotherhithe (probably adds 20mins to the journey, but we could possibly even include the Limehouse Link too if we did that.

I'm 2 cylinders short of a V8...

If the consensus is that a trip through Blackwall tunnel on the way there is in order then let's arrange to meet up in the big O’Neill’s pub car park just off the Green Man roundabout. It's easily accessible and close to the tunnel, down the M11 link road a little bit.

Just a thought though peeps, it's got a big car park and it's off the main road. It's quite easy to get to from the tunnel, we can either take the A2 or the A20 then jump on the M25 for a little bit.

What d'ya think??

P.S. Means more time in bed for me

Podie, listen up chap. I live more or less at the start of the M11. How far are you from the M11/M25 junction? If you can make it down the M11 to the A406(North Circular) turn off then call me from there and I will direct you to my gaff (few minutes away). From there we can make our way to the Green Man roundabout (start of Leytonstone High Road). I'll mail you directions if you prefer.

That way we can then pi$$ all my neighbours off even more

Who else is up for the Blackwall Tunnel Run to Kent??

>> Edited by Big T on Thursday 2nd October 14:55

I live in Chelmsford, so would hack down the A12...

..mail me directions chap. Got yer mobile...

There's a party going on in our tunnel, and everyones invited.

I'm not sure that reads in quite the best way. I think it's your cue, Podie.

Sorry I've been so slow on catching on to this, but I've been on my back for the past couple of days.....

Podie meet me at the Marriott (where we met for the Epping meeting - its only 2 junctions from you) and we'll drive down to Big T's it's only 10 minutes from here and cos I don't know how to get to the Green Man either.

Is that OK with you Big T, what time do we need to be at yours?

Hope you're feeling better mate! Won't reply to your mail.. since you now know!

J26 sounds fine... what time?
