Something that was thought of in a roundabout way by condor in General Gassing, why not have a mini ScrapHeap Challenge style competition running?

Doesn't really have to be big things, maybe something out of shoe-boxes No seriously, why not have a couple of PH teams competing trying to build something out of a wrecked car, i.e. a buggy.

Or why not do it like the BBC show Panic Mechanics where Ed China and others would built wacky racers and stuff (hearses into Beach Buggies, Escort Vans into downhill racers...)

em, the entire likelhood is due to the time constraint, we (the contestents) would use hammers and brute force to remove said objects from the "car". Thus, due to the endearing nature of a hammer, the panels would be useless to both "Mr Scrap Man", and indeed "Mr I've Been Ripped Off By Buying Something Someone Removed With A Hammer".

You'd have to buy the cars, and then more than likely pay someone to take them away. Don't you love the world!

That's OK ...count me in as a team member ...I can be inside with my trusty screwdriver taking apart all the fixtures and fittings

saying things like "pooh", "holy mother", "crap" as the hammer swing and remove the item you were previously unscrewing
