Rover V8 Distributor Dilema /TR7
Discussion
Apologies if this has been answered in threads elsewhere
I have just removed a broken SD1 V8 engine from my TR7
I have replaced it with a reconditioned earlier spec engine and thought I could replace some of the ancillaries, particularly the Distributor, which on the removed engine is a 35DE, This has 3wires that come out the dizzy that ultimately terminate into a block connector that plugs into a large balast resistor at the front of the engine bay
I have today discovered that swapping the distributor is not possible. The one in the recon engine however only has one wire emerging from the side. (35D)
How do i wire this up to the block connector?
Any help much appreciated...
