A small plastic vacuum connector has snapped on our Combo van and Vauxhall are a bit vague as to what part it is and what it does!
They think I have to buy a whole system that is £300 odd so I need to be sure first.

The part fits where the arrow is

To help identify the system.

The broken part.
Any help would be appreciated as I hope I can get one from a breaker once I know how to describe it.

Thanks for the help chaps.
It is indeed the vacuum pump takeoff and despite being easily removed and worth about £3 Vauxhall in their wisdom do not list it separately and it's part of the pump at £250 Trade!
Hopefully sourced one on eBay, there was only 1 listed so fingers crossed at £18.

It isn't open to the air but obviously in the pictures its been removed and does in fact connect to the hose shown.

I tried to get one from Fiat as this engine is as said used in loads of vehicles but it seems that Vauxhall use a different vacuum system and the part is pretty hard to get.

Hoping the eBay one fits!

Yes, from blowing through it it is basically a one way valve/hose connector.

Well the one that was on the Combo pump I got from eBay fitted fine so at least I got the problem sorted for £18.

Since ordering I have trawled loads of pictures of pumps from supposedly the same type of engine but they all seem to be different so I think I was really lucky dropping on the only one listed on the site.

Thanks for the help, think I will be buying PSA from now on.
