Help lean fr cr !!!!
Discussion
really sorry im absolutley st with cara i have a leon fr cr 170 had it 14 months and never had a problem till a week ago. The glow plug light came on amd eml light and turbo only work above 2500 rpm and occasionaly go limp at 70mph on motorwar. Took it to 2 garages both with turbo boost sumat dribble not reached and another turbo signal implausable. Got told had sticky vanes so gave it in for clean ov vanes and remap since it was there with egr blank and delete. Went to pick it up car still wont boost till 2500rpm and now its a dpf fault code they tried forced regen several time to be fair but it kept cutting itself off as it was too blocked. booked in again for dpf removal and remap again. I worried if i spend more it may not be the real problem anyone have any advice or had same problem please help. P.S. did 45mile round trip in 4th gear 3000rpm at 70mph hoping may clear dpf the car did go into limp mode once at the start of the journey about 4miles in bit was fine all the rest of it. car idles at 750rpm just no turbo till 2500rpm.
noo not at all you have misunderstood, i was told the problem was origionally sticky turbo vanes, i gave the car to have the vanes cleaned , i was under the impression that this would cure the car, and whilse the vanes were being cleaned i got the car remapped with egr blank and delete incase this was the reason it went into limp mode on the motorway thence the remap, now the car has had this done the turbo still doesnt doesnt boost up until 2500rpm and they put the car back on the computet and its comjng up with the dpf being 90+% full and have suggested to have the dpf removed and this should cure it ?
i havnt a clue this is what i got told and said the dpf keeps canceling the force regen as its too full ehicb it did several time infront of me and the explanation given was dpf soo full that turbo not getting the gasses required till the engine is over 2500rpm to forced the pressure up and make turbo work and the answer is remove and delete dpf?
