any issues with lightbar in front of intercooler?

Hi all,

ive got a 1.6l Citroen DS3 Dsport, i also have a 36 inch lightbar that ive used on a couple other cars before, in the past i have just put it on the roof, but the lightbar happens to fit perfectly in the grille area, i want to put it behind the grille, but this would put it directly in front of the intercooler.

The intercooler is quite a small one, maybe a foot across in width, on the drivers side of the car, and the car is also completely standard, haven't modified it in any way, so it isnt being pushed very hard (supposedly the intercooler is good enough for another 50bhp) so im thinking that the surface area blocked by the lightbar would be minimal and not really affect the cars power, especially over winter.

could this cause any problems and would it cause a noticeable drop in power?

Itd have a job, doubt it still has 150bhp to lose! 😂

I live in a little village, and on the roads around it especially it’d be nice to have that extra light, it will be Wired in with the high beams so shouldn’t be blinding people and when it’s off it won’t really be visible
