I have removed a set of Vandervell mains ERR1765 circa 1998 from my engine and the best equivalent appears to be made by Glyco

Is there a better option for a Fastroad/Track application with 7.5k redline?

The engine uses the same 2.5" mains as the 4.0/4.6 Rover V8 - STC4299

I have ordered Clevite77 for the big ends as recommended by a buddy, but they don't seem to do mains in the size needed

Have you looked for a Clevite H series or do King or ACL offer something?
Yes, the King option is MB5031AM, but I think this is just steel backed aluminium, and this would seem to be a step down from the Vandervell fitted originally

Please can you suggest a run in procedure, the only new parts are the mains and big ends (and seals) - Thanks
