DS3 clutch

Hi newbie here today but long time lurker.

My wife has a DS3 1.2 pure tech 65 reg with about 19,000 miles on the clock, she said it was not pulling away correctly so i went for a spin and conferred it was not as it should be.

Took it to a local independent and he confirmed the clutch was slipping and would need to be replaced.
Anyone else have any issues with DS3 clutch failure, my wife had loads of cars and we have never had to replace a clutch yet, awaiting estimate from independent.

Any idea of cost?

Thanks guys, we have owned the car from new, the wife has had loads of other cars , Toyota Yaris, Honda jazz , Ford Fiesta, never had to replace a clutch yet.
5years , low mileage, seems like a short time . Thanks again

DS3 clutch update,
I got the clutch replaced yesterday, worn down to the rivets, thrust bearing and housing full of dust from said clutch plate. As good as new now.
