engine/gearbox mating

hi, i want to mate a redtop engine to a ford sierra type-9 gearbox to be put into an mgbgt. does anyone know how i can do this, and whether it has been done before? any help will be very gratefully recieved

My mate owns it as he bought it in a kit car and then decided to use a bike engine. I don't like pintos and I really don't like them taking up space in the garage. definately interested, what is the 'rally spec'? how long since it was freshened up too?
