Renault V6 Engine / Auto Box
Discussion
Superb - you know your Renaults - what's your job?
So if I were to replace the box on the above Espace, what are my options for donor cars (auto and manual). Similarly if I discover I need a new head (hopefully just the gasket) are there cars with the same head also? From what I have discovered so far, I think the Ren 25 is my best option as a cheap donor.
Much appreciated,
Robert.

Thank you again. Can I just clarify my options with you? I really appreciate the information.
A bent Espace would be easiest but the breakers seem to want mega-bucks for the parts. I'm hoping to find a Ren 25 donor. There seem to be a number of Ren25 V6. The obvious one is the Baccara (2849cc which is the same as the Espace). There is also a 2664cc and a 2458cc+turbo versions.
Would a box from any version suffice?
Would an engine from any version suffice?
If just replacing a cylinder head, which would be suitable.
Oh and given the option between death and looking at my Espace, it's a close run choice
