C63 to Maser GT 4.7

I've been looking at getting something a bit more 'special' and ideally something that doesn't depreciate like a stone!
The GT has always caught my eye as one of the best looking cars in existence, however I'm not afraid to admit I'm quite scared of getting one and the reliability perception as well as the limited number of garages and costs involved.
As owners, I would really appreciate your experiences of the GT. Im looking at spending around 40k so would be 2010 with around 35k miles.
I live in surrey and don't know of any garages local to me (near Epsom) and what kind of ££ the service costs are.
Not worried about fuel bills as I've had several V8 cars over the years and my milage is minimal. What I'm more afraid of is it breaking down and nobody being able to fix it, and getting my ass raped!.
