GTS on track

Anyone taken theirs on track?

I took my old 4200 round a few and it wasnt to bad apart from brakes.

ive now had a 4.7 for the last few months and my road driving is getting a little too quick so going to take to the track for some thrills again... this has lead to me thinking of an R8 V10 as its more suited but happy to take the GTS if its any good, brakes are far bigger than my old 42000 with brembo 6 pots which dont seem to fade on road.

Bit of a stop gap anyway as i will be racing in a few years, i know its best i get it on track and find out for myself (and i will do thisj but interested if anyone on here has had a go?

Its very rewarding on road in its firmer set up so maybe im selling it short in my swapping ideas?

Thanks but it It was just to get an idea if it’ll be fun for the odd track day see if anyone had taken theirs on track to get an idea what it behaved like, i know 1800kg isnt the ideal track weapon

ive done caterhams etc on track days, bikes, stripped out cars etc. and i am in noway interested in driving one to the track, if the gts is an absolute pig then i’ll get an r8 in the meantime.
