Hello All,
I purchased a 2 year old QP a few months ago and the service is due. I have had a quote from the dealership and they are asking for nearly 1k and all it includes is a oil and filter change. Seems a bit steep considering what is involved but I understand I am looking to pay the brand premium.

Question is, how important is the main dealer servicing on these when it comes to resale? I am planning on keeping the car for 2 years. Would a service in say Kwik Fit impact the value or even missing the service this year?

Thanks in advance!

presumably your car is still under the Maserati Factory Warranty? If so, check the verbiage carefully, as I imagine going to KwikFit will invalidate it as well as make your attempt to sell it on in a few years that much harder. The warranty may allow for recognised marque specialists in place of main dealer servicing but I'd check this first if I were you.
Ok thanks. I think I will just cough up the crazy money and get it serviced properly

Thank you guys for all the feedback. I'll be taking it to the Maserati dealership next week. I took the car out of the garage the other day at night when the temperature was minus. The rear tailight cracked on the inside probably from the change in temperature and stopped working.

I hope its covered under warranty. I just cant believe it happened. Is this common?
