Ok so I've done it replaced the centre bearing I've borrowed the pics just thought I'd write up how it was done if anyone is interested




Remove from car and you have this



Cut away existing rubber that is left holding the hanger to the bearing slide down the shaft away from you



Cut through the steel and rubber casing to expose the bearing




You will be left with the bearing cut the casing with the grinder until its all removed






Grab a big punch these pics show the bearing still there as I cut mine off I had more to hit to ensure the snap ring popped and the shaft started moving it too a couple of good wacks



And then you have this just like a cv joint really just make sure before the shft comes out you mark both side of prop to make sure it goes back in on the same spline as it will need rebalancing if it doesn't after you have it apart reassemble with the new bearing .....

This was a post I made way back it's as easy as the pics suggest personally I wouldn't bother with the one piece as vibration does show itself at 200 Klm/ph which I've seen on a car just recently
