What can one expect from a 3.9 diff ratio over the standing mile at TR.04 cv8 600bhp.

To beat me off the line but I'll wave as I past you once we hit 120+

If previous experience of going up against another 3.9 diff equipped Monaro
Possibly true emmaj but just wondering what the top speed would be from a 3.9 diff over the mile

That's only if you get to 7000, which I am guessing is your redline. You should be close to that but you will loose 3mph per 100 revs below it.
Rev limiter already set a 6.9k

600 fwhp = 480 rwhp I guess on a good day. Far more than I had at 350 rwhp in my CV8 last year at TR, so I would have thought you'll pass 180 mph???

I have 585 fwhp (as measured on an engine dyno when we built the motor) in my ute. It runs 10's as driven to the track, when I lived in Oz. The issue I have with it for TR, apart from trying to get it registered, etc in time, is that it has a big stall converter, and so it'll lose a ton of power. I would love to see it get up to near 180 mph though scratchchin

Would be great if you could bring it to TR leatherman

MM6 gearbox not an M12 smile

I think its about right using the top speed calculator

7000rpm with an MM6 gearbox and 3.46 diff is around 205mph according to the top speed calculator i have, but that doesnt take into effect weather etc so wont be 100% accurate
So i could get a reasonable result
