Oil filter

Could any kind vxr8 owners tell me.

Is the oil filter for an LS2 vxr8 engine different from the oil filter for a Vxr8 fitted with LS3

In my mind I would think not,but need confirmation.

I read somewhere that the ls2engine has a white oe filter and the ls3 a blue oe oil filter hence my asking.
