Has anyone used these Tyres on their monaro? I am currently using the zz3 and although I have been happy with them I have noticed that there is split along the sidewall on one of the rears probably due to age as they have been on a few years any help would be appreciated.

Was the reason to change the size for a wider profile.

Thanks for that I will have a look at them as well, wear rate is not really an issue as the car only covers between 1-2k a year the ZZ3'S that are on have still got a fair bit of tread it's just one has three fairly long splits on the sidewall I did not realise it was so long ago but I found the invoice and they were fitted in 2011.

Hello shunter, hope Iom is still a lovely place to drive, I ran the zz3's on my standard monaro for two sets, loved them and perfect for the car and are a good price, the guy that purchased my monaro has had two sets of zz5's and he loves them too.

If your running a standard engine set up the ZZ's are perfect and I think they handle the car perfectly and to buy the expensive MPSS or similar is a waste of money, if your running a much higher bhp set up with FI or CAM or both then the mpss's come into their own and are a MUST!!! that is what I have experienced with the three different cars I have owned.

Hi snowwolf everything is still the same thanks my monaro is standard and seemed to like the ZZ3'S so that's why I was asking about the ZZ5's I think I will give them a try I don't do a big annual mileage so wear rate is not an issue.
