Scotland HSV meet, 26th/27th/28th August

All,

There has been talk on and off the forum about this, so let’s get the annual Scotland HSV weekend meet officially running - whoop whoop!!

Broad details of the trip are below. For those that have been before, it's more of the same. For those that haven't been before, please feel free to come along for as little or as much of the weekend as suits you.

When:

Sat 26th August afternoon until Mon 28th August morning (Monday is a bank holiday in England & Wales)

Staying overnight on Sat 26th and Sun 27th at the Premier Inn below.


Where:

Premier Inn
Stirling South (M9, J9)
Glasgow Road,
Stirling
Scotland
FK7 8EX


What:

The agenda will similar to previous years, which is usually something along the lines of:

Sat PM: Meet up at B&B, maybe a convoy there, food, drink, banter etc
Sun: Driving day, convoy with walkie-talkies! Starting point will be the B&B, time and route to be announced.
Sun late PM: Meet back at B&B, food, drinks etc
Mon: Drive back home


Anyone wishing to come along feel free to book yourself into the hotel above and stick your name down below.

Some of you that live more locally and don't need to stay at the B&B are more than welcome to join us for food/drinks/banter etc, or if you'd just like to meet up with us on the Sunday morning and just do some or all of the driving day then that's all fine too.

Anyone is welcome to join us for as little or as much of the weekend as you like.

Can you still make it even for part of the weekend? Not sure how far away you have to drive.

No one has yet, if you want to put one together that would be great as you know the roads a lot better than us Englishmen!

It doesn't have to be too long, anything like what we've done previously would be great, but we do need to fit a lunch stop in somewhere.

do you know how many are going mate, will do a few copies of the route with instructions just need to know how many I will need
not on facebook so don't know how many have said they are going on there .

mind you the last time I done the route with instructions 70% of the group on the run turned the wrong way out of the premier inn

Don't know how many are going but don't think it will be big numbers this year. The meet hasn't been posted on bookface (I'm not on there either). Plan for 10 max I should guess.

think we will be meeting 9:00-9:30 and leaving about 10am mate. paul is that the time we usually meet ? getting to that age cant remember
