I'm organising a long weekend in the Ardennes for a group from another furum, and have a fair bit of room left at the hotel. Some from here have stayed at the hotel before, when we have done track days at Spa, and often still use the hotel when they are in the area (south of Malmedy).

As well as great driving roads around the area, the Nurburgring is approximately 90 minutes away along some cracking roads with sweeping bends and switchbacks. The 'ring is open on the Saturday evening and all day on the Sunday.

Cost of the rooms is €80 per person per night, including half board. This is a continental breakfast in the morning and 3-4 course meals in the evenings.

We usually run a group tab for draught lager and split that between everyone in the group at the end of the stay, but if you don't drink, only have expensive tastes, or just wish to PAYG then that can be arranged.

I've booked the Channel Tunnel for 09.20 on 1st September going out and 19.20hrs on 4th September for the return. If anyone is using the boats instead then we can arrange a time and place for rendezvous in France / Belgium.

If anyone is interested then I can give you the itinerary that I have sorted, though you can do your own thing while you're in the area, if you'd prefer to.

Great weekend and some brilliant roads !
Thanks to Ian for sorting out the routes.
Only downer to the week was me making a balls up of my journey home when I went into Liegeconfusedfrown
I told you to wait. wink

We went to a Battle of the Bulge museum, which was closed and then we decided to take a slow trundle back after a coffee and popping to the services.
I found a picturesque place for a coffee, but then Simon wanted to just go to the services and home.

Services done, he was leading and took off like a bat out of hell. I followed for a short time, then backed off to 120 and waited for Trevor and Tim, whi didn't catch me before Dunkerque. I caught up with Simon at the shuttle terminal.
